Nile Bachmann studied Naturopathic and Chinese Medicine in Seattle, Washington. Nile graduated with a Master’s degree from the Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine in 2012 where he was trained in the many uses of Acupuncture, Herbs, and Tui-Na bodywork in the promotion and maintenance of health. He is also a graduate of the Cayce/Reilly School of Massotherapy in Virginia Beach and holds a BS in Biology from Virginia Tech. Before joining the team at BRCCM Nile was working in a community acupuncture clinic in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Adam Fisher Herb Production Coordinator
Adam has a deep connection with the land and growing plants to heal people. He is a student of biodynamics, permaculture, mycology and beekeeping. Adam is primarily responsible for our campus Gardens and Greenhouses. He also assists with educational programs, Garden Tours, and our harvesting and processing functions.
Naomi Crews Herb Production Coordinator
Naomi focuses primarily on post-harvest handling and processing of the herbs. She also works with the BRCCM Herbalists in the Apothecary and assists in a wide range of duties within the Garden.

Becca Pray Seasonal Garden Hand
Becca comes from Potomac, Maryland. Her hobbies include outdoor sports, particularly backpacking and kayaking. She has one cat named Spooky. She currently lives in a small cabin to which she is enthusiastic about converting into a tiny home.
Felta Virginia Seasonal Garden Hand
Felta is originally from Northern Virginia but has been in the Floyd area for five years. She has two children and is an artist. Her interests include herbal farming and hopes to become an integral part of the Floyd community development and have an impact on rural economics and the organic movement.

Kim Altizer Office Administration
Kim grew up in Floyd and currently resides in next door Montgomery County. She has three children and is happy to be out of the corporate world for at least a little while. She likes to go hiking and being outdoors and loves the beach and watching volleyball of any kind.
Amy Avery Marketing Consultant
Amy is a recent mom working from home to keep our websites up to date and our logos looking sharp. Another native of Floyd County, Amy enjoys quilting and geography and trying to find the time to cook.
